Lorraine Sherry, LIPPA, is fast becoming the most sought after young wedding photographers in town, the secret of Lorraine’s success lies in her relaxed, original and contemporary style, and her skill at capturing the personalities of the bridal party.

Her particular instinctive style has proven to be very popular with contemporary brides in many counties of Ireland. Using the professional touches employed by fashion magazines editorials, she weaves the entire day into a narrative: from the moment the bride steps into her wedding dress, until the couple are prepared to enjoy their reception meal. Lorraine graduated from Griffith College with top honours in 2002, and subsequently trained with the leading society photographer in Ireland. She worked as a video editor in some of the renowned television advertising companies in London, and moved to doing special effects for many of the Irish documentaries when her love of Ireland brought her home. Her photography work has appeared in some of the leading photography editorials, most notably Practical Photography Magazine who described her as a photographer with “… a very creative eye, as well as an excellent understanding of light and form”.
